Rhode Island Housing Market Still Soaring in November

Warwick, RI --- December 23, 2016… Home sales statistics released today by the Rhode Island Association of Realtors show that the state’s single-family home sales rose nearly 19 percent year-over year.  Despite a hike in foreclosure and short sales which typically lowers the median sales price, November’s median price also increased, rising 11.4 percent to $245,000. MEDIAN PRICE CONTINUES TO RISE IN RHODE ISLAND'S HOUSING MARKET AT THE START OF THE FOURTH QUARTER

Warwick, R.I., November 30, 2016 -- The median price of Rhode Island’s single-family home sales rose for the 12th consecutive month in October. A year-over-year gain of 4.6 percent resulted in a median sales price of $235,000, the highest seen in the single-family home market at the start of the fourth quarter since 2007.  Full Story

Rhode Island Real Estate Sales Still Going Strong

Warwick, RI – September 23, 2016…Rhode Island’s single-family housing market continued its upward trend in August with year-over-year increases in completed and pending sales, as well as median sales price. Warwick, RI, August 23, 2016…Once again, home sales statistics released by the Rhode Island Association of Realtors showed Rhode Island’s latest monthly sales volume eclipsing all records.  Eleven hundred and forty (1140) single family homes sold in July, with a median sales price of $262,500.  Full Story

Rhode Island Home Sales Remain Brisk in May

Warwick, RI, June 22, 2016… With 986 single family homes sold in Rhode Island last month, May marked the 18th consecutive month of increased year-over-year sales.  Sales activity rose nearly 19 percent compared to May, 2015, while the median sales price rose 5 percent to $239,000. Rhode Island Home Sales Up 35 Percent in April 

Warwick, RI, May 20,2016... On the heels of record-breaking activity in the first quarter, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors reported that Rhode Island’s housing sales remained strong in April.  Association data portrays a 34.7 percent year-over-year gain in single family home sales activity last month. R.I. Single Family Home Sales Break Record in First Quarter

Warwick, RI, April 27, 2016…According to sales statistics released by the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, Rhode Island experienced the busiest first quarter in the single family home market since record keeping began in 1986.  With 1906 sales from January through March, 2016’s first quarter sales beat the record set in the first quarter of 2005 of 1825 sales.  Full Story

Solid Start to Rhode Island’s Spring Housing Market 

Warwick, RI, April 25, 2016…Home sales activity in Rhode Island continued to heat up in March.  The number of single family homes sold increased 23 percent, compared to March, 2015, and the median sales price rose nearly 12 percent to $230,000.  According to statistics released by the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, 750 sales were transacted last month resulting in the busiest March on record in more than a decade.  Full Story

Warwick, RI, March 22, 2016… Rhode Island’s housing market showed strong year-over-year gains in February with the number of single family homes sold rising 24 percent from February, 2015. Rhode Island’s 2015 Home Sales Activity Highest in More Than a Decade

Warwick, RI, January 27, 2016… Rhode Island’s housing market saw the largest volume of single family homes sold last year since 2004, with 9782 sales, and the highest median sales price since 2008.  Year-over-year sales activity rose 10 percent and median price increased five percent from 2014, to $225,000.  Full Story
