R.I. Association of REALTORS® Installs 2024 Officers

Sally Hersey to lead 6000-member organization

Warwick, RI -- October 31, 2023 - Sally Hersey of Williams & Stuart Real Estate in Cranston, was recently installed as the 2024 President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors at the Association’s 75th Annual Installation and Awards Celebration. Licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, she began her real estate career in 2006 and has risen through the ranks of the Realtor organization.

Among her many accomplishments, Hersey was the 2018 president for the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, as well as that board’s 2021 Realtor of the Year and 2019 Lear Award recipient. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Realtors.

A resident of North Smithfield, Hersey graduated magna cum laude in business from Johnson & Wales University and completed the Certificate Program in Leadership Excellence for Realtors® from Bryant University.  A Certified Residential Specialist, she has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative and e-PRO designations, and the National Association of Realtors At Home With Diversity certification, among others.

Other 2024 officers installed by the Rhode Island Association of Realtors include: Christopher Whitten of Premeer Real Estate, President-Elect; Michael Pereira of June Realty, Vice President; William Fain of The Brown Group Realty, Treasurer; and Alex Parmenidez of Coldwell Banker Realty, Secretary.

At the annual event, officers of State-Wide Multiple Listing Service, a for-profit subsidiary of the Association, were also installed for their second year. They include Stephen Larson of RE/MAX Professionals Newport, President; Deborah Schusterman of BRIZO Real Estate Services, President-Elect; and Julie Longtin of Cityside Properties, Secretary/Treasurer.

The new officers will begin their term following their installation at the 2023 National Association of Realtors Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA later this month.
