Leann D’Ettore Named 2019 Rhode Island REALTOR of the Year

Warwick, RI… October 25, 2019 – The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) has announced that Leann D’Ettore, associate broker of Homistic Real Estate, was chosen by her peers as the 2019 Rhode Island Realtor of the Year. The award recognizes one of more than 5000 Realtors throughout Rhode Island for their dedication to the Realtor organization and their local communities.

D’Ettore has served in various leadership roles for local, state and national Realtor associations. At the local level, she served as past treasurer, secretary and president of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors and was the winner of the Board’s Lear Award, the highest honor bestowed upon its members. She is also a past officer of the Greater Providence chapter of Women’s’ Council of Realtors. As this year’s winner of the Greater Providence Board’s Realtor of the Year Award, she was one of five local Realtor board candidates for the statewide Rhode Island Realtor of the Year Award.

At the state level, D’Ettore has been a member of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Board of Directors since 2015 and served on its executive committee since 2018. She has participated in numerous committees, among them the Rhode Island Realtor Political Action Committee, Fundraising Committee and Young Professionals Network.

This year, D’Ettore accepted the role of 2019 National Association of Realtors Major Investor Council member during which time she brought Major Investor donations to Rhode Island’s Realtor Political Action Committee to new levels. She was named as a 30 Under 30 honoree by Realtor Magazine and was recognized in 2012, 13 and 14 as a semi-finalist in Forbes Magazine’s EMPACT 100 List of young entrepreneurs. She has been a speaker at national real estate conferences from Las Vegas to Washington D.C.

D’Ettore’s professional resume is second only to her track record of civic engagement. She actively volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, Disabled American Veterans and Junior Achievement of RI, to name just a few.

“Leann sets an example for Realtors everywhere. Her dedication to her peers and the communities she serves is unsurpassed. She is the consummate professional. Her Rhode Island Realtor of the Year award is well-deserved,” said Philip Tedesco, Chief Executive Office of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.

D’Ettore is a resident of Narragansett, Rhode Island. She started Homistic Real Estate, which has offices in Cranston, Wakefield and Charlestown, in 2006.
