Two RI REALTORS Inducted Into Omega Tau Rho Fraternity

Warwick, RI, October 24, 2017…The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) has announced that Brenda L. Marchwicki, Broker and Owner of BisMarc Properties, LLC and Patricia Lenihan, Managing Broker of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, have been inducted into the Omega Tau Rho fraternity of the National Association of Realtors.  Membership in the honorary fraternity is represented by the Medallion of Service which is awarded as a token of the high esteem in which inductees are held by their fellow Realtors.  The Medallion of Service symbolizes the recognition and appreciation accorded to Omega Tau Rho members for their contributions to the National Association of Realtors and its institutes, societies and councils.

Marchwicki is the 2017 President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and a past Chairperson of the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation’s Real Estate Commission. She also served as the 2013 President of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® and as a board member of the Providence Diocese Real Estate Division. A consistent top producer and recipient of Circle of Excellence Awards from the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, she is a licensed Realtor in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and a licensed auctioneer in Rhode Island. Marchwicki resides in Pawtucket.

Lenihan has served in several leadership positions on the local, state and national Realtor associations, including: 2016 President of the Kent Washington Association of Realtors; Director on the Board of the R.I. Association of Realtors, member of the state association’s Government Affairs, Professional Standards, and Forms Committees; and National Association of Realtors Federal Political Contact to U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. A resident of East Greenwich, she was voted 2016 Rhode Island Realtor of the Year by her peers.
