RI Association of Realtors and State-Wide MLS Announce New Officers

Warwick, RI, November 18, 2009...The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) has announced its 2010 officers.  Installed at the association's Annual Meeting on October 22nd, they begin their official duties this week, following their return from the National Association of Realtors Annual Convention in San Diego.  Karl Martone, of RE/MAX Properties in Smithfield will serve as President of the 4300-member association.  He is a long-standing member of the RIAR Board of Directors, Past President of State-Wide MLS,  and a recipient of the 2008 RIAR Realtor of the Year award.

Other officers include: President-Elect, Stephen Antoni of RE/MAX Professionals in East Greenwich; Vice President, Jamie Moore of Jamie Moore Appraisal Service in Warwick; Treasurer, Victoria Doran of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Providence; Secretary, Sussy DeLeon of RE/MAX New Horizons in Providence; and Immediate Past President,  Paul Leys of Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty in Newport.

The State-Wide Multiple Listing Service, a subsidiary of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, also announced its 2010 officers. They are: President, Allen Gammons, Jr., Prudential Gammons Realty in East Greenwich; Vice President/Secretary, Connor Dowd, Keller Williams of Newport; Treasurer, Ed Stachurski, Century 21 Stachurski Agency in Pawtucket and; Immediate Past President, Alyce Kleczek, Bay Realty in Narragansett.
