Leann D’Ettore Named 2021 President of the R.I. Association of Realtors

Warwick, R.I. – November 4, 2020 – The Rhode Island Association of Realtors today announced its 2021 officers. Leann D’Ettore, broker/co-owner of Homistic Real Estate, will serve as president of the 5400-member organization.  She is the youngest Realtor ever elected to the position of president.

Licensed for 16 years, D’Ettore opened her brokerage with her partner at the age of 23. They now operate three offices throughout Rhode Island. Her business accomplishments earned her a place in 2016, 2017 and 2018 as a finalist in the Forbes Magazine Empact 100 List featuring the top 100 companies and entrepreneurs in the country.

D’Ettore received the Greater Providence REALTOR® of the year award in 2013 and again in 2019. In 2019, she was also recognized as the state-wide REALTOR® of the year. She is a 2015 Lear award recipient from the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, which is the highest honor awarded by the local board.  In 2010, she was featured in the national REALTOR® Magazine’s 30 under 30 focus section. After receiving that recognition, she traveled as a real estate motivational speaker, addressing conference attendees in Las Vegas, Washington DC, Chicago, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

An avid believer in civic engagement, she has volunteered for many organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Pettaquamscutt Terrace Improvement Association, and Serve RI, to name a few. As a leader on the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, she was also instrumental in implementing the C.A.R.E. organization, a non-profit 501c3 organization, where her involvement as chair and co-chair helped raise more than $80,000 for local charities.

“We’re very excited to work with Leann in the year ahead. Her dedication and energy are just what our organization needs to guide us into the ‘new’ normal,” said Philip Tedesco, CEO of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.

D’Ettore is a graduate of Assumption University and lives in Narragansett. She will assume her responsibilities later this month. Other new officers on her leadership team include: president-elect, Agueda Del Borgo; vice-president, Sally Hersey; treasurer; Mary Baron; and secretary, Bryant De Cruz.
