LOCAL REALTORS INDUCTED INTO OMEGA TAU RHO FRATERNITYHonored with Medallion of Service  Art Yatsko Warwick, RI, October 26, 2016…The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) has announced that Arthur Yatsko of the Salisbury Agency in Warwick, R.I. and Joseph Luca of RE/MAX Preferred in North Providence, R.I. have been inducted into the Omega Tau Rho fraternity of the National Association of Realtors. Membership in the honorary fraternity is represented by the Medallion of Service which is awarded as a token of the high esteem in which inductees are held by their fellow Realtors. The Medallion of Service symbolizes the recognition and appreciation accorded to Omega Tau Rho members for their contributions to the National Association of Realtors and its institutes, societies and councils.  Joseph Luca Yatsko is the 2016 President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. A licensed real estate agent since 1977, he is also a past President of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors and was twice elected the Board’s Realtor of the Year. Among several other posts, he has served as a Director of the State-Wide Multiple Listing service, a member of the RIAR Government Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Realtor Troop Support Task Force which aids military families with housing-related needs. Luca has held various leadership positions for the local, state and national Realtor associations as well, including his service as the 2017 President-Elect of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and 2014 President of the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors. Some of his many contributions to the Realtor community include his service as Chair of the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors Communications and Nominating Committees, 2015 co-chair of the RIAR Government Affairs Committee; and 2015 of the Realtor Political Action Committee Participation Council. |
