RI Association of REALTORS® Announce 2009 OfficersWarwick, RI…The Rhode Island Association of Realtors installed their 2009 slate of officers at the 2nd Annual Installation Dinner and Annual Meeting in Middletown last week. Paul Leys of Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty in Newport was named 2009 President of the statewide association. Licensed since 1988 and co-owner of Gustave White since 2000, Leys holds Certified Residential Broker (CRB), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations and is an appraiser and licensed auctioneer. He served as the 2008 treasurer of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. He is also a Past President of the Newport County Board and was chosen as Newport's REALTOR® of the Year in 1999. Leys is a third generation native of Newport. Other 2009 officers installed were: President Elect - Karl Martone, RE/MAX Properties, Vice President – Michael Saccoccio, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage ; Treasurer - Stephen Antoni, RE/MAX Professionals ; Secretary – Victoria Doran, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage; and Immediate Past President, Rob Scaralia, RE/MAX 1st Choice.
